1. Information we collect
- Account information, including name, email address, phone number, market, and login data.
- Subscription, transaction, invoice, and limited payment-status information. Our payment processor handles full card details.
- Deal, property, financing, rehab, accounting, team, document, photo, and report information you submit.
- Device, browser, IP address, log, security, usage, and diagnostic information.
- Communications, support requests, survey responses, and marketing engagement information.
- Property and market information received from public records and third-party data providers.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, personalize, secure, maintain, and improve the Service;
- process subscriptions, enforce plan limits, prevent fraud, and provide support;
- generate calculations, reports, property intelligence, and requested collaboration features;
- communicate service, security, billing, product, and policy updates;
- analyze performance and develop features; and
- comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect rights and safety.
3. Email marketing
We collect and retain account email addresses to send product news, educational content, offers, and other marketing communications related to AssetUpside and Asset Upside, LLC. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the message or by emailing support@assetupside.com. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional, security, account, or billing messages. We may retain a minimal suppression record so we can honor your opt-out.
4. How we share information
We may share information with:
- vendors that provide hosting, authentication, storage, email, analytics, customer support, property data, and payment services;
- team members and recipients you authorize through sharing features;
- professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and financing or transaction parties under appropriate duties;
- authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security; and
- a buyer, successor, or affiliate in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business.
Subprocessor categories. We use service providers in these categories: hosting and database; authentication; payments; email delivery; analytics; and property-data providers. They may process information only to provide services to us.
We do not sell personal information.
Voice features
The voice walkthrough uses your browser's or device's built-in speech recognition. Depending on your browser, your device maker (for example Google or Apple) may process the audio under its own privacy terms. AssetUpside receives only the resulting text.
5. Retention
We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, keep business and tax records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with law. If your subscription is canceled or ends, your account stays available in read-only mode for 60 days so you can export your data.

We may keep de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify you.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting account credentials and controlling access granted to teammates and link recipients.
If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected users and regulators as required by law, including S.C. Code § 39-1-90.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
You may update account information in the Service, export your data from Settings, cancel a subscription through billing settings, and opt out of marketing as described above.
Requests. To request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, email privacy@assetupside.com from your account email. We may need to verify your identity. We aim to respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need more time where the law allows. We may keep information where permitted or required by law.
Appeals. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing privacy@assetupside.com with "Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond to appeals within 45 days.
Text messages. If you opt in to text messages, message and data rates may apply, you can reply STOP at any time, and consent is not a condition of purchase. We do not currently send marketing text messages.
9. Children and international use
The Service is for business users age 18 or older and is not directed to children. The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it elsewhere, information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy and will post the revised effective date. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required.
