Copyright (DMCA) Policy

We respond to valid notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

1. Sending a notice

If you believe content on AssetUpside infringes your copyright, send our designated agent a written notice that includes:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • a description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
  • a description of the material you claim is infringing and where it is located (for example, a URL);
  • your name, mailing address, phone number and email;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

3. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake; your name, address and phone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the United States, any district where Asset Upside, LLC may be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the original notice. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complaining party tells us it has filed a court action.

4. Repeat infringers

We may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe others' copyrights.
